On behalf of the City Council and more than 380,000 citizens of Raleigh, North Carolina I would like to welcome you to the 2010 Shen Yun Performing Arts performance at the Progress Energy Performing Arts Center hosted by the N.C. Falun Dafa Association.

This year we are honored to have Shen Yun Performing Arts from New York come to Raleigh to showcase the best in traditional Chinese culture. Shen Yun Performing Arts has performed in hundreds of shows in over 20 countries over the last 3 years. They have performed in some of the most prestigious venues around the world. We are thrilled to have them come to Raleigh. Through their exhilarating performances of classical Chinese dances and music, we have the opportunity to appreciate and take pleasure in this extraordinary cross cultural event.
